What do you usually share on Twitter or the
Facebook? You have found a delicate restaurant in the corner of the street? You
like to post the lovable picture of your puppy? Or you would like to share the
happy moment of your party?
What we usually do on the social media is to do some entertainment
activities, but have you try to ask for medical advice when you are sick. This
seems to be a new trend in the U.S. 80 percent of the young adult between 18 to
24 said that they’d like to share health information on the social media. 90%
said they trust others’ information. The things go oppose to the men between
45 to 65. What would you do if you are ill? To turn to your doctor or to
internet to ask your net friends ?
"Health organizations have an opportunity to use social media
as a way to better listen, participate in discussions, and engage with
consumers in ways that extend their interaction beyond a clinical
encounter." Kelly Barnes, U.S. Health Industries leader for PwC, said in a
statement.
